This guy is so old school I’m surprised there’s really any online component to him whatsoever. And let’s face it: the website is totally so wrong that it’s almost right , so bad it’s a classic.
I mean, this is a guy who is still promoting his courses on video tape. Holy S%&!.
But great ideas usually rise to the top. I stumbled on this guy - and this is a true story - when I was cleaning out an old tape storage closet at work (we called it ‘The Tomb’) and came across his collection of essays on cassette. I almost ditched them into the circular file right then and there. What, no podcasts?
But his philosophy caught my eye. And I’m sure glad it did. He boils down character into four distinct corners of what he calls The Leadership Diamond. These four corners are: Ethics, Vision, Courage, and Reality.
Sound intriguing? It’s more than that. It can be a wholesale way of life, and I suggest you check it. Here’s a good place to start.
Now if only he would roll with the rest of the 21st century.
Any other people I should follow today?
